FEA Principal Justin Veilleux, PE2, MBA, RCDD, LEED AP BD+C, has been named this year’s Vegas Inc Top Tech Awards winner in the category of Community Exemplary! Justin was honored at the annual Top Tech Award ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Allegiant Stadium.
FEA Principal Justin Veilleux, PE2, MBA, RCDD, LEED AP BD+C, has been named this year’s Vegas Inc Top Tech Awards winner in the category of Community Exemplary! Justin was honored at the annual Top Tech Award ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Allegiant Stadium.
The annual Top Tech Awards program honors innovative tech leaders in the Southern Nevada region. Each award represents a specific category, and each recipient is selected by an independent judging panel based on the nominee’s achievements. The Community Exemplary award honors those who have displayed a great dedication to charitable outreach and to advancing technologies and tech education in the community.
Justin is one of the youngest principals at FEA and directs the firm’s Electrical, Low Voltage and Lighting departments. His direction in engineering technology has helped FEA grow to one of the top hospitality engineering firms in the country. Justin is licensed to provide engineering services in over 20 states and has worked on a variety of top Las Vegas projects, including his most recent work on the new Resorts World Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Formula 1 Experience and Durango Station in southwest Las Vegas.
Justin was recognized for his passion for educating and empowering the next generation of creators and visionaries through engineering and technology. His dedication to encouraging younger people into STEM fields has led him to serve on several educational boards. He is the Alumni Association President of the UNLV College of Engineering board and he currently sits on the advisory board of Mike O’Callahan Middle School, a technology-focused school in Las Vegas.
Justin dedicates much of his time to giving back to our community. He volunteers to give tours to potential O’Callahan students who are interested in the STEM fields. He works as a mentor in the UNLV Rebels Forward mentoring program and is a regular park cleanup volunteer with Red Rock Canyon and Get Outdoors Nevada. Justin also regularly fundraises and volunteers for the Special Olympics of Southern Nevada and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada.
