FEA Consulting Engineers provided the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, low voltage, audio visual and lighting design services for the Brad Garret Comedy Club Conversion within the MGM Grand property in Las Vegas. The conversion of the 5,500 SF China Tang restaurant into the Brad Garrett Comedy Club consisted of a 1,850 SF bar, building new walls between the bar and restaurant space, replacing 2 surface mounted pendant light fixtures, removing and capping 14 hanging pendant lights, moving 3 illuminated marquee boxes to the entry wall, installing existing signage and allowing for new signing at the fascia The 3,650 SF dining room space converted private dining rooms to a stage and greenroom, consisting of removing 3 surface mounted light fixtures, removing 3 wall mounted TVs, removing 18 recessed lights and 6 speakers in the ceiling, installing new lights and demolishing an existing small state. In addition, all FFE and artwork was removed and replaced with artwork from the current Brad Garret Comedy Club, a new tech booth was added, lighting was replaced with lighting from the current Brad Garret Comedy Club, existing AV cabinets and stage area was removed, and the back of the house was updated.
