The Cosmopolitan Resort is the first of the urban-style casino, retail, hotel/condominium high-rise properties to be constructed in Las Vegas on a small footprint similar to a downtown Manhattan. This new generation of resorts presents unique space planning and programming challenges. A detailed component analysis is required to provide equipment that fits in small spaces without sacrificing system performance and maintainability. FEA has provided full engineering services for the resort as this world class property evolves, there is constant remodel and additions, and various systems FEA Consulting Engineers have designed that are adapted to this process:
Talon Club
FEA helped further the ongoing transformation of the Cosmopolitan by providing design services for the Talon Club High Limit Room. Tucked away on the second floor of the resort and named the Best High Limit Lounge by In Vegas Magazine in 2014, the exclusive high stakes gaming space boasts an area where high rollers can store their own scotch in lockers, a private wine cellar, and an extensive art collection.
Chandelier Lounge
The 3,300 SF Chandelier Lounge, situated like a crown jewel in the Boulevard Tower of the Cosmopolitan, features three levels, signature cocktails unique to each level, and the largest chandelier in the world made up of over seven million pieces of custom-fabricated crystal beads. The Chandelier Lounge was awarded top honor in the 2012 SOURCE Awards and was named to the 2014 Nightclub & Bar Top 100 list.
Momofuku
Momofuku was founded by chef David Chang in 2004 with the opening of Momofuku Noodle Bar in New York City. Credited with “the rise of contemporary Asian-American cuisine” by the New York Times and named the “most important restaurant in America” by Bon Appétit magazine.
