An ownership team that included a general contractor we had worked with in the past put this project together. FEA was hand-selected to complete a full-scale resort within a very short timeframe. Our partnering with the various contractors enabled the project to be constructed and the opening as scheduled. Unfortunately, Hurricane Katrina damaged the facility just a week prior to opening. FEA assisted with the reconstruction efforts, and the property was one of the first Gulf Coast properties to open after the storm. The property consisted of 475 rooms and a large casino, restaurant, and entertainment component. Total Construction Cost: $300 Million
